Apex Player Development

Train the player. Measure the work.

Youth soccer, speed, and agility training built around the athlete—not a generic drill list. Coaching, assessment, and performance technology work together to make the next step clearer.

Development methodology

A repeatable process, adapted to the child.

Young athletes are not miniature adults. Session difficulty, instruction, workload, and measurement are adjusted for developmental stage, training age, confidence, and readiness.

01

Assess the player

Start with movement quality, soccer actions, confidence, experience, and age-appropriate performance measures.

02

Choose the priority

Turn the assessment into one or two useful goals instead of trying to fix everything at once.

03

Build through movement

Use purposeful repetition, adaptable challenges, and game-relevant decisions to develop the skill.

04

Measure and adjust

Review observations and available data, then progress, simplify, or change the next training block.

The technology we use

Tools that answer better coaching questions.

Technology supports the coaching process. It does not replace observation, communication, or age-appropriate judgment.

Foot-mounted measurement

Wearable foot sensors

Paired motion sensors sit in silicone straps on the outside of each cleat. They can capture technical and physical actions from both feet, helping add context to how a player moves and interacts with the ball.

Objective sprint timing

Electronic speed gates

Portable timing gates provide consistent start-to-finish sprint times without relying on a handheld stopwatch. Repeated under similar conditions, they help show whether acceleration work is transferring.

Equipment is used when appropriate for the session and athlete. Sensor availability, compatible footwear, setup, and the purpose of the training block determine when data collection is useful.

How we train

Principles before drills.

Exercises change. The principles behind them stay consistent—giving every session structure without forcing every athlete through the same drill list.

01

Age appropriate

Instruction and challenge match the athlete’s stage, not just their calendar age.

02

Repetition with variation

Players repeat the core action while distance, direction, pressure, or decision changes.

03

Quality before intensity

Movement control and technical execution come before adding unnecessary speed or volume.

04

Confidence through competence

Clear goals and achievable progression help athletes understand what improvement feels like.

Training pricing

Clear prices. Separate training days.

Training FAQ

What ages do you train?
Sessions are designed for youth athletes across a wide range of ages, with the activities adjusted to each athlete's age, experience, and development stage. Reach out with your athlete's age and we'll recommend a fit.
Do athletes need prior experience?
No. Training meets each athlete where they are, from first-time movers building coordination to experienced players refining sport-specific speed.
What should the athlete bring?
Athletic clothing, appropriate footwear, water, and — for soccer sessions — a ball and shin guards when applicable.
Can sessions focus on both speed and soccer?
Yes. Combined sessions blend speed, agility, and movement work with soccer technique and decision-making based on the athlete's goals.
How is progress tracked?
Training activity, assessments, goals, and progress can be recorded in the Apex Player platform so athletes, parents, and coaches share the same picture over time.
Do you offer small-group sessions?
Yes — semi-private and small-group formats are available in addition to private one-on-one training.
Can siblings or teammates train together?
Yes. Small-group and semi-private sessions are a good fit for siblings or teammates at a similar level.
Where are sessions held?
Location details are confirmed when you request a session. Please reach out for current availability in your area.
What happens if weather affects an outdoor session?
Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled for weather. We'll coordinate an alternative time directly with you.
Does training guarantee improved speed or performance?
No. Athletic development varies by individual, and outcomes are not guaranteed. Training focuses on age-appropriate movement quality, body control, and consistent, purposeful work.
A parent or guardian must complete registration for minors. Training involves physical activity and carries inherent risk. Please disclose relevant limitations through the private intake process. Apex Player does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment; consult an appropriate healthcare professional when necessary. Outcomes vary and are not guaranteed.
