Partner with Apex Player

Turn your footage into development

Game film is powerful — and mostly unwatched. Apex Player turns your match camera into per-player highlights, verified match data, and recruiting-ready showcases families keep paying for.

The opportunity

Footage wins the sale. Player value wins the renewal.

A full-match video is a one-time novelty. Cut into per-player highlights and tied to a development profile, it becomes something every family on the roster wants — season after season.

Built-in distribution

  • Reach whole clubs, not one team at a time
  • Coaches and Apex drive adoption — zero acquisition cost
  • One pilot club can mean hundreds of families

Recurring, not one-off

  • Player value gives families a reason to renew
  • Every game adds to the season story
  • Predictable, club-level ARR

A flagship reference

  • A next-MLS ecosystem club as proof
  • Verified match data tied to real rosters
  • A template every club behind it can follow

The math

What one flagship club is worth

Illustrative — a single large club, before the clubs behind it. A one-off video sells once; per-player value compounds.

~1,500
players in one flagship club
72
coaches driving adoption on the ground
150–375
families at a 10–25% opt-in
Recurring
a subscription behind every family, every year

Zero acquisition cost on your side — Apex and the club's coaches do the selling from inside the program.

How it works

From film to future

Your camera captures the game; Apex turns it into per-player highlights, data, and exposure.

1

The camera films the match

Your camera captures the game and the events within it — goals, key moments, and each player's involvement.

2

Clips & data sync to Apex

Footage and match events flow into Apex Player and attach to the right players automatically — verified, not hand-tagged.

3

It becomes player highlights

Each player gets their own clips and a match record inside their living Apex profile — not one long video nobody watches.

4

It builds a showcase

Highlights, verified stats, and a season yearbook combine into a shareable, recruiting-ready player showcase.

5

It gets seen

Families share showcases; approved players surface to scouts. Every clip is anchored to a verified profile, not a self-reported one.

Why families buy — and keep buying

Every family wants their own player's story

Apex converts a game video into my kid's highlights and progress.

Per-player highlights

  • Auto-clipped to each athlete
  • Not one long unwatched reel

Verified match moments

  • Goals, actions, involvement
  • Anchored to a real profile

Recruiting showcase

  • Shareable, credible, on-brand
  • Approved players reach scouts

Season yearbook

  • The whole season, one story
  • A keepsake families come back for

The integration

Narrow, read-only, and light on your side

We designed this to trust your platform as the authoritative record and primary host — not to duplicate it.

Roster & player mapping

We match a clip to the right player by your player/event ID, so highlights land on the right Apex profile automatically.

Clips & events, read-only

We consume clip references and match events. Read-only. Your platform stays the source of truth and the primary host of the video.

Direct sync at a benchmark

Below the benchmark, families use your product as normal. At a proven volume, we switch on direct sync so it's automatic.

The founder is a full-stack developer who built the Apex platform and its integrations — so the engineering conversation is short, technical, and grounded in something already live.

Data, privacy & trust

Youth footage, handled right

Video of minors is sensitive. Apex already carries the consent and sharing controls so a partnership doesn't add obligations to your plate.

Apex owns consent & sharing

  • Verifiable parental (COPPA) consent per player
  • Parent-controlled sharing — nothing public without approval
  • Immutable, versioned consent records

You stay the source of truth

  • We reference your footage, not re-host it wholesale
  • No duplication of sensitive collection
  • Clear split of who controls what

Who does what

Everyone plays their position

You (camera)

  • The camera, footage & match events
  • Fulfillment & the video subscription
  • The clip / data feed / API endpoint

Apex (software)

  • Per-player highlights, profiles & showcases
  • Onboarding, consent & sharing controls
  • The engagement engine that protects renewals

The club (demand)

  • Promotes to its families
  • Coaches drive on-the-ground adoption
  • Runs the program day to day

The model

A parent-funded channel — lower risk, bigger upside

No large club capital order. Families who opt in subscribe through a club plan, and Apex drives the adoption and the renewals.

1

Launch cohort (weeks 1–4)

You set up a club plan/code. Apex and the coaches drive the first families to opt in. Clips and match data flow via your existing product to start.

2

Hit the benchmark

Once the club crosses a volume benchmark of active subscriptions, we turn on direct sync — clips and events pull into player profiles automatically.

3

Scale the playbook

With a proven flagship club, the same plan + subscription + sync playbook repeats across the clubs already lined up behind it.

You keep the camera and subscription revenue. Apex brings the audience, the software, and the reason to renew.

What we're asking for

Two things to launch

1 — A club launch offer.

A club-specific plan/code so the first cohort opts in instead of hesitating — never priced above what a walk-up buyer pays today.

2 — Direct sync at a volume benchmark.

Clips and match events flow into Apex automatically once the club proves demand. De-risked for you: earned by volume.

Partner FAQ

The questions partners ask first

Do we have to white-label or co-brand?
No. Apex is its own independent software platform and presents your camera as an optional, third-party add-on. Your product keeps its own identity and brand — we don't put your logo on our product or imply a formal affiliation until there is one.
Who owns the customer relationship?
Everyone keeps their lane. You keep the camera and its subscription relationship. Apex owns the software relationship. The club owns the family relationship. No one is disintermediated.
Do you re-host or duplicate our footage?
No more than needed to display it. We consume clips and match events through your feed or API and attach them to the right player — your platform stays the source of truth and the primary host.
What about filming minors and consent?
Apex runs verifiable parental consent per player and gives families explicit sharing controls — nothing goes public or reaches a scout without a parent's approval. Youth video is handled with the consent machinery already built into Apex.
What if a club doesn't hit the volume benchmark?
Nothing is lost. Below the benchmark, families still get full value through your product. Direct sync only switches on once real demand is proven — so integration effort is spent only on clubs that have earned it.
Is exclusivity required?
No — we can start non-exclusive. As the channel scales, we're happy to discuss category or reference terms.
How do you protect our renewals?
The software is the retention engine. Per-player highlights, verified match data, recruiting showcases, and a season yearbook give every family a reason to keep subscribing, season after season.

Let's build the pilot.

We have a flagship club ready to run this first. If the structure works, we start driving families to it immediately — and the clubs behind them follow the same playbook.
