Partner with Apex Player

The software that makes your sensor a daily habit

A wearable foot sensor is only as valuable as the software behind it. Apex Player turns your hardware into a season-long development tool families keep paying for — and a recurring product clubs adopt at scale.

The opportunity

Hardware wins the sale. Software wins the renewal.

A sensor bought once and left in a drawer is a one-time transaction. Paired with Apex, it becomes a daily-use product with a recurring subscription — inside clubs that already have thousands of motivated families.

Built-in distribution

  • Reach whole clubs, not one buyer at a time
  • Coaches and Apex drive adoption — zero acquisition cost for you
  • One pilot club can mean hundreds of units

Recurring, not one-off

  • Software gives families a reason to renew
  • Annual subscriptions compound year over year
  • Predictable, club-level ARR

A flagship reference

  • A next-MLS ecosystem club as proof
  • Verified development data tied to real rosters
  • A template every club behind it can follow

The math

What one flagship club is worth

Illustrative — a single large club, before the clubs behind it. Your one-off deals sell once; this channel compounds.

~1,500
players in one flagship club
72
coaches driving adoption on the ground
150–375
units at a 10–25% opt-in
Recurring
a subscription behind every unit, every year

Zero acquisition cost on your side — Apex and the club's coaches do the selling from inside the program.

How it works

From boot to profile

Your sensor captures the work; Apex turns it into verified, comparable, motivating development.

1

The sensor captures

A player trains — at home or on the pitch — and the sensor records the ball-work the eye can't count: touches, releases, both-feet balance, work rate.

2

It syncs to Apex

The session flows into Apex Player and attaches to the right player automatically — verified device data, not a self-reported number.

3

It becomes a profile

The data feeds the player's living profile and Apex Score — trends over the season, not a one-off snapshot.

4

It gets context

Every metric is benchmarked against the player's age group, so families see where they stand and what to work on next.

5

It drives development

Leaderboards, streaks, and a targeted plan turn the data into a reason to train every day — which is what protects your renewals.

Why families buy — and keep buying

The software is the reason it doesn't end up in a drawer

Apex converts a sensor into a reason to train every day.

At-home ball mastery, counted

  • Home reps finally show up as data
  • Every touch feeds the player's score

Leaderboards & streaks

  • Verified reps earn placement
  • Keeps kids training between sessions

Age-group benchmarks

  • Where a player stands vs. peers
  • Clear focus for what's next

Coach-visible & verified

  • Objective progress across the roster
  • Holds up in evaluations & reports

The integration

Narrow, read-only, and light on your side

We designed this to trust your platform as the authoritative record — not to duplicate it. Minimal lift, no sensitive-data handling.

Roster & player mapping

We match a player to their unit by your device ID, so sessions land on the right Apex profile automatically — no hand-keying.

Session data, read-only

We consume finished-session metrics (touches, releases, balance, work rate). Read-only. Your platform stays the source of truth.

Direct sync at a benchmark

Below the benchmark, families use your app as normal. At a proven volume, we switch on direct API sync so it's automatic.

The founder is a full-stack developer who built the Apex platform and its integrations — so the engineering conversation is short, technical, and grounded in something already live.

Data, privacy & trust

You take on no new liability

Youth data is sensitive. Apex already carries the machinery so a partnership doesn't add obligations to your plate.

Apex owns consent

  • Verifiable parental (COPPA) consent per player
  • Nothing goes public until a parent verifies
  • Immutable, versioned consent records

You stay the source of truth

  • We trust your data, not duplicate it
  • No re-collection of sensitive source data
  • Clear split of who controls what

Who does what

Everyone plays their position

You (hardware)

  • The sensor & its measurement
  • Fulfillment & device subscription
  • The data feed / API endpoint

Apex (software)

  • The platform families use daily
  • Onboarding, consent & verified profiles
  • The engagement engine that protects renewals

The club (demand)

  • Promotes to its families
  • Coaches drive on-the-ground adoption
  • Runs the program day to day

The model

A parent-funded channel — lower risk, bigger upside

No large club capital order. Families who opt in buy their own take-home sensor through a club code, and Apex drives the adoption and the renewals.

1

Launch cohort (weeks 1–4)

You set up a club launch code. Apex and the coaches drive the first families to buy their own take-home units. Data flows via the device's own app to start.

2

Hit the benchmark

Once the club crosses a volume benchmark of active units, we turn on direct API sync — sessions pull into Apex automatically, no manual downloads.

3

Scale the playbook

With a proven flagship club, the same code + subscription + sync playbook repeats across the clubs already lined up behind it.

You keep the hardware and subscription revenue. Apex brings the audience, the software, and the reason to renew.

Why partner with Apex

Club-embedded

  • Built for clubs, coaches & families
  • Adoption from inside the program

A committed flagship

  • A large club ready to pilot
  • More lined up behind it

Builder-founder

  • Full-stack developer + coach
  • Short, technical integration path

What we're asking for

Two things to launch

1 — A club launch offer.

A club-specific code/plan so the first cohort converts instead of hesitating — never priced above what a walk-up buyer pays today.

2 — API access at a volume benchmark.

Direct sync switched on once the club proves demand, so sessions flow into Apex automatically. De-risked for you: earned by volume.

Partner FAQ

The questions partners ask first

Do we have to white-label or co-brand?
No. Apex is its own independent software platform and presents your device as an optional, third-party add-on. Your hardware keeps its own identity and brand — we don't put your logo on our product or imply a formal affiliation until there is one.
Who owns the customer relationship?
Everyone keeps their lane. You keep the device and its subscription relationship. Apex owns the software relationship. The club owns the family relationship. No one is disintermediated.
Do you collect or duplicate our sensitive data?
No. We consume the session and verified-performance data through your feed or API — we don't re-collect source data or duplicate any sensitive collection. The authoritative record stays with you; Apex simply trusts and displays it.
What about minors' data and COPPA?
Apex runs verifiable parental consent for every player before anything is shared or made public, and manages the privacy terms for the Apex profile. You take on no new privacy obligation for data displayed inside Apex.
What if a club doesn't hit the volume benchmark?
Nothing is lost. Below the benchmark, families still get full value through your device's own app. Direct API sync only switches on once real demand is proven — so the integration effort is only spent on clubs that have earned it.
Is exclusivity required?
No — we can start non-exclusive. As the channel scales, we're happy to discuss category or reference terms.
How do you protect our renewals?
The software is the retention engine. Leaderboards, streaks, age-group benchmarks, and a living development score give families a reason to keep training with the device — and keep subscribing — season after season.

Let's build the pilot.

We have a flagship club ready to run this first. If the structure works, we start driving families to it immediately — and the clubs behind them follow the same playbook.
